Take a stroll through Kohanaiki’s community garden thriving with seasonal produce, bountiful fruits, and wild herbs- all grown organically. The two-acre biodynamic farm is a feast for the senses with something new to be discovered every day, from dragon fruit sprouting out of volcanic rock, large squash sprawling across the rich volcanic soil, or the vibrant purple of the lilikoi vine flower.
Focusing on an inclusive approach to food and cuisine, produce grown at the community farm is served garden-to-table at both Kōnane and the Beach Restaurant. Members are welcome to forage new flavors with endless opportunities - water flavored with juicy Meyer lemons, plain yogurt sweetened naturally with passion fruit, or cut up a ripe mango to toss in a salad. A symbol of our commitment to promote health and wellness, sustainable living and holistic healing, the community garden promotes a deeper connection between the farmer and nature, while enhancing a nutritionally-balanced lifestyle.
